How do I write a review about my agent?
Writing reviews is a way to communicate your gratitude to your agent, spread the word on the great service, and allow other homeowners to know about the excellent work of your agent This also allows the agent to build trust, and get recognized for a job well done.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to write your review:
1a) If you were sent a Review Request email, please click "Click here" to start the survey.
1b) If you were not sent a Review Request, please go to our homepage and click "Write a Review" at the top of our page (this is the main navigation).
2) If you were sent a Review Request email, the "Select Agent" field will already be filled out. If not, please start typing in the name of the agent, and a list will appear. Select the agent from the list.
3) Please click and drag the sliders to the appropriate number. If you find that the sliders are still moving when you are done dragging the slider across, please click on the slider again to release the hold.
*Note: Or, if you are certain that your agent deserves a full five-star review across all categories, click our shortcut "5 star quick rate" button to move all the sliders to 5 stars immediately.
4) Once you are done with the sliders, please fill out the comments section of your review. We know that other users rely on your reviews to make one of the biggest decisions of their life, so the more details you leave equals a better picture of the experience you had with your agent. Please refrain from slander, name-calling, and family un-friendly comments. Read our Review Guidelines for more information.
5) Simply click on the radio buttons to indicate your answers. These are optional.
6) Please leave details of the services your agent provided: including the date, how they helped you, and the transaction address. If you bought and sold with the same agent, please leave both addresses.
*Important note: We never publish your address as this information is only used to verify your review. We do however, link the review to the neighbourhood, to help other users to get a better picture of where an agent has been active.
*Important note: If you do not see your address pop up in the "Enter an address" field, please still type your full address, then hit the "Tab" button on your keyboard to complete and go to the next field.
7) Leave your name (or an alias if you choose) and your legitimate email address. If we are unable to verify your credentials, this may result in your review not being posted. Click on the box saying "Confirm you have read our Review Guidelines and agree to our Terms of Use." Then click "Confirm Review" - and you're done!
